Hayden assumes the role of Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Middle Tennessee State University, operating within the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (CSIL). He brings a background of experience to his position, having commenced his journey in January 2024. Hayden holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from MTSU, where he was also an active member of Phi Kappa Tau.

Before his current role, Hayden dedicated two years to working with his National Headquarters in Oxford, Ohio, honing his skills and commitment to fraternity life. During his undergraduate years, Hayden also served as a Student Orientation Assistant, fostering a sense of community and belonging among incoming students. Hayden’s dedication to the values of Greek life and his headquarters background equip him with a unique perspective and skill set to support and empower MTSU’s Fraternity and Sorority community.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from MTSU and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and Supervision. Michai also serves as a Graduate Assistant for Student Affairs.

He is a Spring 2023 initiate of the Kappa Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. where he has served as the Assistant Executive Director for the State of Tennessee and  Assistant Chief of Staff for the Southern Region of Alpha Phi Alpha.
