Fraternity and Sorority Life

Interfraternity Council (IFC)

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) serves as the governing body for all 10 fraternities at Middle Tennessee State University. These organizations comprise a group of extremely involved men within the University community that stand out as leaders and as key position holders in many campus organizations.

IFC is committed to building men of character, developing leaders, promoting scholarship, and enriching lives through community involvement. Those who become involved with a fraternity are much more likely to graduate and achieve academic success at MTSU.

Joining a fraternity is simply a matter of finding a place that is right for you. The fraternities on campus will assist you in creating brotherhood relationships that will help guide you through your years at MTSU and beyond. Whether you are looking for friendships, academic enrichment, service opportunities, or the development of leadership skills, it can be provided to you through one of our IFC organizations.

We hope that your experience at MTSU will be enhanced through your involvement with fraternity life. Each organization has so much to offer!
