He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from MTSU and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and Supervision. Michai also serves as a Graduate Assistant for Student Affairs.

He is a Spring 2023 initiate of the Kappa Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. where he has served as the Assistant Executive Director for the State of Tennessee and  Assistant Chief of Staff for the Southern Region of Alpha Phi Alpha.
